baby cards

These cards can go either way to use a the card on a gift or as the gift for "thank you cards" to all who came to the baby shower for the new mommy.

Found matching paper and got the cute little baby face (sizzix cut out) along with the square. Glued down for design I liked and then stitched around the edges with sewing machine. Then added the rubbed look with ink around the edges.

Very simple very easy.
Patterned paper 3/4 the way of the card, added a strip of matching ribbon on bottom then I used a tag (stamp is from Stampin' Up)
. If you don't have stamps use embellishments.

It took me longer to find the papers I wanted to use then to make the cards. I make a dozen of each design. Better made in quantity, then one at a time.

Call me CrAzY or Organized!

Anytime I've got leftover scrap pieces of paper I organize them. In the past I kept them all in a box and it was a big mess but I knew I didn't want to get rid of these scraps. Then a thought came to me organize them by color and in an accordion folder. He's how it turned out....
..now I don't worry about my kids getting into my scrapbooking supplies because they know they can always check my scrap folder for anything they'd like to use.
