Changable monthly calendar

"How we spend our days is of course how we spend our lives"

Looking for a new way to get organized with all the schedules you have to keep? I love this calendar since I can use it any way I want. If I happen to have a full month on it at once or have half of one month and the next half of the other. It's perfect to change since you can use dry erase markers and it just wipes off.

and yes this was another creation by my sister in law Shannon........love how talented she is!
If you'd like to order something from her please place a comment below and I will get you in contact with her directly. THANKS!

Discovered Style on a Recipe Box

I love my new Recipe Box

Check out the where I got the design idea at

http://www.sistersstuff.blogspot.com/2009/08/recipe-box.html

When out on my adventure in blog world I came across this amazing blog Sisters Stuff,
http://www.sisterstuff.blogspot.com/ and when I saw their home page with the cute box I remembered I purchased that same box (at Robert's Craft in Utah) and haven't done anything with it yet. It had a ding in the corner but the paper covers it great.I heart ribbon! My girlfriend and I share ribbon all the time so next time you need something ask a friend. To bad the handle wouldn't stay up so I had to get creative to make it stay to take the picture. I took a paper clip & bent it to hold up the handle to take the picture. The tabs/dividers for inside the box.Do you recognize what I used to make the dividers?Old Manila folders!

So thanks to Sister Stuff for challenging me to get projects done. Here's my version of the Recipe box. The inside of the box is still a work in progress, the recipes I mean and they probably will be for the next year.

Brag Board

I hate clutter on the refrigerator especially school papers so I found a really cute Brag Board at a boutique years ago and decided I didn't want to spend the money they where asking and I have a friend who has her own vinyl business so I decided to ask her and I got the rest of the things myself.

I found a board (in the garage-hubby loves to build things with wood so there is always scraps laying around). Since I had a choice of what size I just picked the size that fit the wall the best. Painted it black (leftover from another project, SCORE!) The vinyl is two different fonts together. I wanted the box look around some of the letters. Then I attached the vinyl words & four clips to hold my children's artwork, school papers or whatever they wanted on there clip. The clips I use originally had magnets on the back so I took out the magnets and placed a screw in the convenient hole that was already there to attach to the board. I also added a hook on the back to hold the nail on the wall.

If you choice to make one for your home please adjust to fit your family in anyway you need to.

Enjoy and BRAG about your kids in a fun way!
